Outshine forum rules

I am happy to have you here. Please read this before posting.

For those here regarding Tony's Open Source programming projects:

I don't support my products
I do Open Source programming for free, in my (rare) free time. The support forum here is for community support -- ask a question, answer a question. Do your best to help each other out. If you get stuck, move on to another product. If you are good at PHP, post a patch or two.

Because the only people here are volunteers, I expect people to be VERY courteous to each other. Stomping your feet and demanding someone write code for you or diagnose your forum's error messages is a good way to be banned. No one here is your employee.

The Blog Mod is not phpBB Blog
Both the phpBB Blog forum and the "The Blog Mod" forum contain comparisons of the two products. Be sure you're using the right product and the right forum.

I didn't write EasyMod
Most of my phpBB mods support or encourage the use of EasyMod. However, I did not write EasyMod, and I do not answer questions about it. Try the official EasyMod topic over at phpbb.com.

For everyone:

Be responsible
Do not post or link to anything that is illegal, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, racist, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, a violation of copyright, or otherwise illegal.

No advertising
Please refrain from posting content that would constitute advertising, junk mail, spam, chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation. As long as your posts are germane to the discussion, signatures may contain links.

Be skeptical
You are responsible for deciding whether or not to follow the advice you may receive here. Be wary of who you give personal data to.

No cracking
Do not attempt to gain access to private member information (including passwords). Do not attempt any nefarious activity against Outshine's forums or other servers.

Unanticipated situations
I reserve the right to delete any posting or ban any user at my sole discretion.

You must set the ad_network_ads_441.txt file to be writable (check file name as well).
